Sha Tin District Council members Mr Leung Ka Wai, Mr Calvin Tang Siu Fung, Mr Ku Wai Ping, Ms Chan Sin Ming and Mr Paul Au Chi On attended site inspections with the project team at Che Kung Miu Road and Lion Rock Tunnel Road on 26 January and 14 February 2026 respectively to understand the arrangements on the new temporary crossing at the Lion Rock Tunnel Road as well as the closure of pedestrian and cycle subway (No. NS303). Additionally, the project team presented to members that the existing refuge island of pedestrian crossing near Che Kung Temple MTR Station Exit B will be temporarily widened to enhance the pedestrian connectivity.
