Trunk Road T4 in Sha Tin won the NEC Project of the Year (Large Size Project) at the 2026 CICES Awards, commending the team’s outstanding achievement in project delivery through collaboration.

Constructing large-scale infrastructure in Sha Tin, a densely populated area with bustling traffic, posed significant challenges. By adopting the New Engineering Contract (NEC) partnering approach, CEDD joined hands with the project consultant AECOM and contractor CRBC-Build King Joint Venture to overcome obstacles through fostering a relationship of mutual support and trust. Apart from enhancing management efficiency and cost effectiveness, their dedicated efforts and professionalism also earned widespread praise from the public and stakeholders.
